‘A New Championship Record Achieved’

Sat Apr 08, 2023 7:21 am

Burnley get promoted with 7 games remaining a New Record:

Vincent Kompany and Craig Bellamy :thumbright: :thumbright:

Amazing Well done :thumbright:

Burnley with a very small population and never ever been a big club have achieved another great season.

Plus please Glen Williams / Media Wales this Summer don’t start writing nonsense like last year saying that we could go after Bellamy, enough if your crap, its bad enough you keep saying we are after Premier League players , when they’ve never even played for them

Before fans start saying we should get Bells in for next season etc
I spoke to Bells and he won’t ever even consider returning to Cardiff while this current Regime run our club.

They are a good squad, wasn't blown away with them at our place but I do believe the championship is in major overhaul mode after the financial realisation that it couldn't continue as it was, so there are many poorer squads than the previous seasons.

I agree with you.

But what does that say about our New squad that was put together 8 months ago and spent 6-7 months 21st in the Championship?

Under s**t managers though - if Sabri, an expericed manger, was here from the start of the season we wouldn't have been 21st for so long and in this relegation fight.

It will be interesting to see how we do next season should we stay up and with Adams, Collins and Robbo coming back into the frame. Would like to see Kipre come back. Still 50/50 on Kaba

Bellamy has lots of problems and he admits he does not want to be a manager - so a non story.

Waiting to see us beat higher up the league tables under him.

Lost to the Jacks and struggled against Top 10 teams so far.

I am yet to be convinced.

Lost count how many teams were top of this League the first 3 months of this season .

I remember in 1 week we had 3 different teams on top - QPR were Top around 22nd Oct 2022 :o

Later Burnley went on that run of winning games and the rest is history :notworthy:
