Philogene threw off his gloves in anger when he was taken off, but when asked about that, Lamouchi said: "He needs to understand why I'm angry. It's my responsibility to try something, because to stay in this shape, probably something will happen.

No good throwing your toys out the pram once you’ve been subbed, simple answer should have performed in the 30mins before hand that way he wouldn’t have been subbed off

Could have taken off any one of them after the first 30 minutes but once Philogene went off any chance of a bit of creativity in the final third went with him.

This is a player on loan showing he is not happy - Shows he cares to want to be a part of this team .

Let's not forget what input he has shown the last few weeks and what he adds to this team .

Tony, I agree; and no way was he the worst performer (or in the bottom two) in the first 30 minutes... :(

The "problem" was he didn't get any ball as Wickham looked like we had just asked a guy who was at the burger van does he want a game, he won, or held on to nothing.

Philogene has so much technical ability he waits for the ball to come to him and does something, he is not an off-the-shoulder player, the root cause was the game plan was Wickham bullying their centre halfs and laying it off, it never materialised so we took the effect off not the cause.

In the cold light of day, Lamouchi took a player the majority off the crowd has little faith in and a kid on loan off at 30 mins, was it that brave, really?

Still a baffling decision even after i have slept on it with a clear head.

For me Philogene is the only creative player we have. I’d never have taken him off that early, needed to have found a way to get him on the ball more somehow.

Have to agree. Whatever system needed changing JP needed to stay on as he’s our only spark with a bit of skill to unlock the defence.

Definitely should've stayed on. He has quiet games, but he is also the only player we seem to have who can create something from nothing (occasionally).

Shouldn't be wearing gloves in the first place, what the heck is all that about, gloves and a short sleeve top! Try playing football in Maerdy in January. Gloves FFS, says everything.
