Cardiff City Chairman Dalman taking £750k annually and

Sun Apr 16, 2023 1:07 pm

Mehmet Dalman taking £750k annually out the club, plus a lovely interest rate on a loan to the club is sickening. It’s his mess as much as it is Tan’s. Wish we’d sell up and clean out the club.

‘consultancy’ fees and the 9% interest rate and lending City £25million and never here

I’ve been told Dalman has lent us even more money at 9% interest.

For me he’s not a Chairman as he spends No real time in Cardiff, runs his own business in London and lives in Monaco and was ready to jump ship to Charlton.

He is just a PR man or shall we say Boris Johnson who talks pure bullshit in my opinion and nothing ever happens but false promises.

Dalman is not a hands on football Chairman or a Chairman who cares for our club.

i'm sure he will be very pleased to continue taking it in league 1, or loaning more at 15%.

Three of them (tan, Choo, dalman) absolute shithouses ! We are in a battle for survival you NEVER see them, all hiding like cowards!!!! You want your Chairman/directors/owners ‘at the coal face’ standing shoulder to shoulder with ‘your men’ FIGHTING TO THE DEATH’ clapping, cheering and encouraging from the sidelines and in the dressing room. Nowhere to be seen, just bleeding the club dry and have not got the ‘minerals’ to show their cowardly faces. Rant over, we will cheer them on ourselves and be here long after those three parasites. :bluebird:

Need to get them out of the club asap

Why does Tan need Dalman to pay the wages or put money in anyway? Particularly at such a high rate of interest and bearing in mind his complete failure to run the club properly over the last few years….I take it the millions we owe him are to pay for all his CEO blunders? Up to £30 million is it? You couldn’t make it up really…..

The consultancy fee to WMG in the 2021/22 accounts was £270k. Whatever people`s views on whether this is a fair charge for his time being paid to WMG Group, it is nowhere near the £750k you claim.

The interest paid to Tormen Finance was £1.7m at a rate of 9% on a loan which had reached £25m at the year end (was £20m the year before). Seems a lot , but perhaps not exceptionally so for an unsecured loan (only Vincent Tan has registered charges against the club assets).

The underlying concern is the rate of losses the club incurred in the year - £29m - which will be difficult to reduce going forward despite far lower player salaries and amortisation.

I am lost on this one - Has Dalman put his own money into our club or used a 3rd party's money to pay the above ???

Apparently he has put £30m in and is charging 9% interest on it. The interest rate is normal for any loan.

I'm not too sure if its secured or not. I would love to know what it is secured against. Only thing I can think off is its against Tan or against Premier football payments if we get back there. If its not secured then we might have another Langston on our hands .

Maybe Tan is worried that Dalman will leave. So he loans money off Dalman at interest to keep him tied to the club and it's fortunes.

Fortunes? Well suppose there are us fans who just love him hence why he stumped up £30m.

No, there is some reason behind it that only benefits Tan and Dalman at the same time. Perhaps thats one of those questions that need to be asked from the Trust?
