Neil Warnock: “ Swansea players “ Hmmmmmm

Mon Apr 17, 2023 7:02 am

Warnock's game in Swansea came after Sabri Lamouchi's Bluebirds had crashed 4-1 to Sheffield United in a TV game shortly before.

Warnock heard the Swansea players cheering in their dressing room.

NEIL WARNOCK:

“Cardiff will stay up this season, they are to good to go down.”

It prompted Warnock to say, as quoted by YorkshireLive: "I heard one or two cheers in the Swansea dressing room before the game... but don't forget, in football what goes around comes around. It'll only be a matter of time before Cardiff get a good team together and batter them."

At the current rate we are miles off and if we drop to League 1 then it will take us years to get back up again, unless we assemble a fantastic team on loan players we are fecked!

That would be a very Swansea thing to do, Gunny. It's a historical fact that shows our club to be a more honourable one than yours (if, of course it is yours) ;)

Don't agree that we're too good to go down at all. We have a poor team. I also remember people saying the likes of Wolves and Leeds were too good to go down but they did.

But I hope he's right and we stay up somehow.

I think his team will be alright now, he's done a great job again. Fair play to him.

I think Wigan and Blackpool are gone. Final spot between us, Reading and QPR.

Kris I can only imagine your interpretation of being honourable excludes paying for a certain player , no doubt he was yours by paying the well overdue part payment . I have to add I do admire your ability to add " in most of your posts , a wob nderous feat I must say . Good luck for the rest of the season ,

You're gonna need it

Talking about ‘celebrating’ why, to this day do your supporters still perform the ‘swim away’ (players included) when everyone absolutely knows they were just young children chased into the sea, I know it may not suit your narrative but surely you cannot be proud of that. I would gladly meet you anywhere to suit yourself and look you in the eye and would you be honest enough to deny they were children?

Hi your lordship I'm here now . Not sure why I'd want to meet a stranger after conversing on a website, I do hope you're not trying to groom me :o The more the swim away is enacted the more it triggers cardiff supporters ,you being a fine example of those of a more sensitive nature amongst your support.

Colin W hates Swansea ever since we won at Bramall Lane 3 nil in the FA cup in 2007. Despite being a PL and losing to a League one side Colin W was his usual ungracious self no doubt claiming his team were the better side and the referee was to blame.
