Ajax fans started singing it after playing us in a pre-season friendly in 2008 or 2009. They had to stay behind after the game and it was played over the speakers so they all started singing it and have done ever since. Bob Marley's son sang it at half time at an Ajax home game a few years ago then Ajax brought out a"third" shirt in a reggae style with the 3 birds on it. And all because of us

I don't get the hate for this song. It was something that we could have made unique to use rather than copying all the other drivel out there. Ajax have turned it into a club anthem.
