Played better last night, after he lost his temper with O’Dowd and was fired up. He needs that aggression if he wants to be a championship player.

Don't rate him at all tbh but its what we got

delighted when he scored, but that was very poor defending from Watford,

There is definitely a player in there but he needs a specialist coach as he is a half-decent footballer as most of the big boys' products are, he just doesn't know his position. He doesn't drive into the 6 yard box, he stands off far too much.
Big decision for the club, he needs a full season but is the championship the place for him? Assuming we are championship of course

Bellamy did not have the best technique, but his aggression and desire to win was second to none, I don’t know if you can coach that, but he was alive after the arguments. Hope someone winds him up on Saturday.

He's only 21, and is still learning his trade. Strikers tend to peak in their mid to late 20s.
Obviously not comparing the two, but Harry Kane got his first league start for Spurs when he was 20. It wasn't for a couple of more years that he became a household name.
Etete has a good relationship with Kaba, if we could keep that partnership next season it would blossom and help Etete in the long run.
I'd rather keep Etete over Wickham, put it that way.

Not sure I agree with that.
I wouldn’t bet my house on it but I think there is enough pace, work rate and skill there to work on and develop a decent Championship striker at least.
He’s young for a big striker but he’s improved steadily throughout the season. He needs to add more goals, that’s a given, but I’m optimistic.

I agree with your middle paragraph, but he's not yet ready for first team Championship football. I dont think it does him any good being a regular first teamer at this point, certainly with the level of skill that he has around him at present.

Have to remember he's the same age as rubin colwill, yet we seem to being far more critical of him, probably because we are relying on him so much more in this team.
He's definatley got all the attributes to be a very good championship striker - touch, pace, stregnth and tactical awareness - he's only going to get better and better with age and maturity if we continue to give him game time.
As another poster says, strikers only really come into their own in their mid 20's (except the odd world class youngster).
Patience is a virtue.
