Although, media savvy, I'm sure there would be some yank billionaire willing to go halves on them and take them further. We'll see.

Well it'll be a progressively bigger test of their financial resolve as they get more successful. As Tan knows spending money on players doesn't guarantee success. As long as they keep spending their money on the continuing success their fan will demand their fans will demand they'll be OK.

Well the acid test will come to them when they need to spend big.
Lets see what they spend next season. If it starts to go wrong lets see what they stump up with to stop the rot.
