Cardiff City Legends v Swansea City Legends

Anyone who went to the match at Pen Y Bont FC for Jason Bowen, would have enjoyed a great afternoon watching some of the stars of yesteryear, such as James Collins, Danny Gabbidon and Earnie.

The match finished 4-4, with the Bluebirds coming back from 3-1 down, with 2 stunning goals from Leo Fortune-West (who then played the last 10 minutes for Swansea), and a last minute equaliser from Scott Young (I think). Man of the match was Andy Legge who looked like he was almost still in his prime. He was also good entertainment, offering the linesman a spectators pair of glasses when Swansea scored from an obvious offside move. The match was played in the right spirit and the camaraderie between both sets of players was still plain to see. It was also refreshing to see Bluebirds and Jacks watching the game side by side. Lee Trundles show boating got some banter from Bluebirds fans early on but he took it with a smile in fairness.

A cracking day overall, with an attendance of 1,021, and all the players spent loads of time at the end with the fans, having selfies and a chat. Thanks to those former players for their time, and all the best to Bowens for the future :occasion5: :bluebird:
