Wrexham seem to want to get Gareth Bale out of retirement for their league 2 campaign next season.
Have to say would be disappointed myself as he's a Cardiff lad and turned us down last season.

Let's be honest it would be a marketing ploy at best, which is what they are very good at.

McElhenny tweeted, let's play golf so I can bend your ear for four hours ans Bale responded saying it depended on what golf course.

So either Bale has misread the tweet and only answered the golf bit or he is open to a conversation.

Must admit I think the story with more legs would be Bales involvement as an investor.

It's just great marketing and keeping the hype around the club. Cardiff take note on how to successfully run a business.

Bale has lost it now anyway we could see that in the World Cup plus he would get battered in league 2 and spend half the time injured.
I wouldn't be surprised tho if Wrexham were genuinely interested tho, would be a good move commercially for Hollywood FC if the price was right.
Think it is very unlikely to happen but Wrexham do want to try their luck to sign Bale as the post suggest. Think Bale will have the conversation with them but turn it down.

Robson Kanu has offered to play for them also.

I actually wouldn't want Bale here at Cardiff myself now but as we all know in his prime he was a all time great.
