We can still be relegated

Fri Apr 28, 2023 6:43 am

Great result which all but seals our survival, apart from a strings of result that could go against us. So I had a look ,and it is not really so far fetch that we could still be relegated
-If City lose both our last two game 2-0 and Reading win both their games 2-0 they go above us

QPR only have to win one of the last two games and they play Stoke and Bristol Two teams with nothing to play for Then they go above us

Rotherham would only have to too win possibly just One game and they have Wigan on last day So they could go above us on goal difference They currently have a better goal difference than us

Huddersfield have 3 games left They beat us and then go to Sheffield where Warnock is a fans favourite Role over Sheffield Nothing to play for as already promoted

So maybe unlikely, but still not that extreme either

Common City seal it mathematically on Sunday and let’s all get down there and support the boys

We will be safe by Sunday if Wigan avoid defeat to Reading.

Then let us throw the game to Huddersfield therefore improving the chances of Rotherham getting relegated.

Still possible however very unlikely now but anyone who fancies us to still go down skybrt are offering 250/1 for us to go down

Of course it's possible, but very unlikely now.

The fact that Wigan are still in with a chance of staying up when they play Reading on Saturday also works in our favour. Reading then go to Huddersfield on the final day. Reading have 12 away points all season and haven't won away since November.

I know QPR beat Burnley in a freak result but that was their first win since December.

With all the fixtures for other teams in the last two games, it would be a huge shock now if we got relegated and I'm more than confident we'll be safe.

Even if you look at the forums of other teams, they're all sure we'll stay up.

As said above, we will be mathematically safe before Sunday anyway if Reading don't beat Wigan. That's not a gimme for Reading, they haven't won since February and Wigan have won their last two.

I’d prefer Rotherham to stay up, easy 6 points next season for us then.

We need to avoid defeat on Sunday. Actually, it would be nice to win a home game so let's get a result. So far we've won more times away from home than at home.

Well 2 can't catch us - and our goal difference is better than a few others .
