2-0 Dangerous

Here's a damperner. If reading win both their games by 2 clear goals and we lose our games by 2 clear goals they are above us

Yes. But that would also rely on Rotherham, Huddersfield, QPR winning too.

Can't see all the bottom teams suddenly finding top of the league form.

We're safe.

Plus readings last game is Huddersfield so both teams can't win

Well not exactly top of table form
QPR have Stoke and Bristol So one win from that see them above us on points Playing against two sides with nothing to play
Rotherham have Wigan to play So a win very likely That would put them above us on goal difference They already have a better goal difference
Huddersfield play us so yes they can beat us The hardest game the have is Sheffield Already promoted and a club that loves Warnock Role over Sheffield So last game against Reading would not matter for the
as they would be safe

I think Sky overdid the "safe" bit. The above scenario is quite possible and if Huddersfield beat Sheff Utd-who may be on the beach, we will be below those two. We are then relying on either Rotherham or QPR not winning any of their two remaining games.

Unlikely but quite plausible.

Next to look out for.

Saturday - Reading vs Wigan - a draw or loss for Reading will see us mathematically safe.

Sunday - If Reading have won on Saturday, at least a point for us against Huddersfield will see us mathematically safe.

We will go and get 3 pts against Burnley as they are on the beach.

It’s far from over. We could easily lose our next 2 and it’s not beyond possibility that reading and Huddersfield pick up 6 points each. Great time to play sheff U now they’re over the line.
I think qpr will be ok, so it could be down to Wigan v Rotherham last day to see who goes down, us or them, and that’s assuming they lose to Boro next.

Don't worry, we are safe. It's been about 15 years since a team has gone down on 28 points, in fact over the last 4-5 years 45 points has been enough to stay up.

Of course it's possible, but very unlikely now.

The fact that Wigan are still in with a chance of staying up when they play Reading on Saturday also works in our favour. Reading then go to Huddersfield on the final day. Reading have 12 away points all season and haven't won away since November.

I know QPR beat Burnley in a freak result but that was their first win since December.

With all the fixtures for other teams in the last two games, it would be a huge shock now if we got relegated and I'm more than confident we'll be safe.

Even if you look at the forums of other teams, they're all sure we'll stay up.

As said above, we will be mathematically safe before Sunday anyway if Reading don't beat Wigan. That's not a gimme for Reading, they haven't won since February and Wigan have won their last two.

Sorry, that should have been 29 points although i still think 28 points will be enough

I wish 29 points was enough - we would have been safe months ago!
