Penalties - who should take them

I think NG as he seems to hit a dead ball for free kicks.

I think Etete could but let’s be honest every professional footballer should be pretty good.

Sawyers when he's playing. Good at controlling passes and shots, his technical ability is a good attribute for a penalty taker.

Ng is a good shout also.

It seems to me over the years that the most successful penalty takers are the ones who can delay actually striking the ball until the goalie moves in one direction or the other so they can simply roll the ball into the other corner.

All this run up and hit it as hard as you can is giving keepers the greatest chance of saving or the penalty taker smashing it high, wide or against a post.

Obviously kaba does not possess the speed of eye or reaction to be a successful penalty taker. it is questionable if any of the squad has the skills necessary to be a successful penalty taker but of them all I believe Philogene has the most potential.

Let's just hope we are not involved in any penalty shootouts anytime soon.

Ralls is not a great penalty taker. He has a success rate of just 73% which is not the level you would be looking for. Got to be 80% plus.

It would have to be Ng for me, he’s pretty unflappable and can certainly strike a ball.

By the way, Whitts had a career penalty success rate of 86.67% !! Top drawer.
