Sabri not the man next season

Thanks for keeping us up but hope he’s not in charge next season

100% disagree. Today the players were shattered, and carrying injuries. Hes saved the club with a dreadful squad. Look at the garbage on show today from Ojo, Simpson, Sawyers. Hes kept us up, that was the mission now back him for next season.

It does not matter who the manager is in my opinion there only tossed what players we can afford which comes from above. How many managers do we need to change each season for people to realise its the squad we got full of freebies and loans bar a couple I could count on one hand who are half decent at this level the rest is a case of you get what you pay for. I suspect it will be more of the same next season with a dogshit budget as expected.

We have had some awful performances under him but equally some very good ones. Today was a game too far but the irony was the worst players on the pitch cannot argue they are shattered, Simpson, Ojo and Sawyers. We need a clear out not just of players that are out of contract, but piss poor individuals like these 3. Sabri deserves a chance, giving the job to someone else will just set us back further. The club needs continuity on the pitch and within the management, it's the Board that needs to be considered as not the men for next season.

Sorry but i disagree with you. To be honest, with what he's got to work with i don't quite know how Sabri has kept us up. For me he has earned himself a contract and a summer where he can put his own stamp on the squad.

Re: Sabri not the man next season

Give the guy a break he kept us up and none of these players are his players,he had to work with what he had. We played a highly intense game on Thursday Huddersfield have had a break and were fighting for their survival. Before ko I could see a draw or Huddersfield win. We didn't need a result they did.

100% spot on and for all the folk who slag Ralls off, well wtf happened when he went off? All shape gone.

Hes done an awesome job at keeping a club on its knees up .He deserves a medal .Hes done his job now the board needs to show real enthusiasm and commitment and sort the mess out behind the scenes otherwise its another shit show again next season .
If we go again with this lot at some point we will go down.
Keep sabri he deserves it brilliant job hes done cant say that for the owner and the board what i will say its thats where the mess is .Its goes onto the pitch .
We need that feel good factor back over Tan to achieve this

As I’ve said before, Joe Ralls actually cares about his club, a millions times more than some of the players on the pitch today, so I agree the people who slag him off ain’t got a clue, they need to start slagging the others off who show no interest what so ever and the sooner they are moved on the better.

Re: Sabri not the man next season

He is absolutely 100% the man for next season.

When he came in, I said he deserved to stay if he kept us up. I didn't really think it was at all likely we'd stay up, but he did it.

This set of players are not Championship standard, on the whole. Yet he's got us the points we needed and should be praised for that.

As others have said, we were also carrying several injuries today and the players put so much into Thursday that they were knackered.

The players totally respect him.

So I hope that we do the sensible thing and offer him a new deal. But we need to pay our bills and he needs to be backed or we'll be relegated in 12 months, even if we had Alex Ferguson or Pep Guardiola.

An off form ralls is still better than an in form ojo. He holds that side together and does any and all jobs others don’t or can’t do.

I said to my mate the 2 problems we had in the second half were ralls going off and ojo staying on.

But. Lamouchi knows what ojo can do. Knows what Simpson can do and any other player he stuck with. Hopefully he can see what he needs to do to build his own side.

I am a fan, an amateur, but some of his decisions are totally fcuking baffling, some days its Mike Bassett England manager stuff

I hope that was SL offer to Ojo of showing me what you can do over 90mins, he did, he can do fcuk all.

If he is the man, it needs to be done before Burnley, but knowing this lot it won't

Totally agree mate. Some of his decision making has been awful.
Thank you Lamouchi for keeping us up but it's a goodbye from me and take Ojo with you.

Re: Sabri not the man next season

Sun Apr 30, 2023 2:49 pm

Disagree. He's as good as we'll attract currently and has clearly coached some into (slightly) better performances; mainly Etete.

We need stability. Offer him a contact, full pre season.

Countering that, why would Sabri want to stay? The job that need to be done is huge. I don't think Pep or Klopp could sort us out. It's a 6 month roll at best due to the shambles of a squad we have when you remove the loanees.

Another aimless big summer ahead.

Re: Sabri not the man next season

Absolute nonsense.

Not his team, he’s been asked to come in and save a club in free fall and he’s done exactly that.

Re: Sabri not the man next season

Sun Apr 30, 2023 3:16 pm

He has won this job.

Re: Sabri not the man next season

Sun Apr 30, 2023 4:46 pm

He’s got more out of these players than I expected and done a great job of keeping us up when I thought we gone…,don’t know what else he could have done to be given a crack next season!!

Re: Sabri not the man next season

Sun Apr 30, 2023 4:53 pm

He has done a f*cking miracle this season , the guy is good at his job , and got the best out of some shit players , today was just a game with nothing to play for , and they were knackered from all the games , ralls brilliant again as I’ve kept saying , some new players in with lamouchi and we will be good next season

Re: Sabri not the man next season

Sun Apr 30, 2023 5:43 pm

Whilst not an outstanding manager, he has only had the tools left him by his predecessors, and the ownership.

He IS though a manager of pedigree that we have not seen since Warnock, and appears good enough to coach teams to the top of the Championship if he is given sufficient backing.

Its also my opinion that if he is not given full answers and commitment from the club very soon he will choose to go.

Spot on Jules..

The Etete for Kaba change was pretty like for like and some would argue the better move but the shape changed from the moment went off and despite the huff and puff we were always likely to make an error in midfield that put the defence under more pressure; and so it was...

I currently have a short-list of three players for my Player of tge Season and Joe Ralls is on it...

Kipre and Kaba the other two Chris?

Kipre my player of the season anyway.

But I slated Ralls a lot last season and he's proved me wrong this season. I didn't want his contract extended and he's shown what he can do. So very happy to be wrong on that.

I'm 100% behide sabri but today was shocking hopefully he's realised that some of these players just ain't good enough. Ojo and sawyers for starters

Re: Sabri not the man next season

Sabri and bamba deserve their chance to build the team they want to play the way they want.
All he could do this season was use what he had the best he could to get the points needed to stay up.
Will be nice for him to have his chance to put his stamp and style of play on the team

Re: Sabri not the man next season

Sun Apr 30, 2023 6:29 pm

Said everything about our season in 1 game today. In control I felt without dominating and then a mistake and we gave them a goal. In all my years of watching football I've never seen a side throw the kitchen sink at it when there's nothing on it. You don't wanna be on crutches on the beach. I have no doubt Sabri will say what he wants to stay and the club will do well to listen. There's no case to be made for getting rid of Sabre except by a multi who's made only 10 posts and will probably disappear up his own arse before he gets to 50 posts.

Re: Sabri not the man next season

Top of mine Chris, underrated by so many and just seeing his celebrations on Thursday shows how much this club means to him.

Re: Sabri not the man next season

Exactly. Ridiculous post by a multi and made a sticky?! Suppose it's got the reaction. But at least we're all on same page...

...we've got super Sab Lamouchi
