My Apologies:

It’s worse than I thought our Current Transfer Embargo:

Our Regime have got us in worse problems than I thought.

We can’t buy players at all , but also I have had it 100% Confirmed next season we can not pay loan fees.
I got that bit wrong, Sorry.

But we can get free agents and loan players if the clubs are willing to send them to us without us giving a fee towards them.
So players like Kipre and Philogene won’t be able to return as we paid WBA & Aston Villa loan fees before we had this Transfer Embargo.

All this is due to us not only keeping FC Nantes waiting for four years for their first payment for Sala, but after three different court cases ordered us to and then being given a 30 day warning we let that lapse then paid the first instalment costing our club £7mill , not £5mill due to fines, penalties and interest.

Maybe this suits this Regime??? Hmmmmmm

It’s not because anyone is against us. Our Board brought this on to themselves.

Lamouchi can still reshape all the staff and clear players out, but it be only Free transfers and loan players that their clubs will not receive fees from us.

I have been informed by an impeccable source Sabri Lamouchi is happy to stay at Cardiff because the Bluebirds board WILL allow him to reshape his backroom staff which will include reshuffling the coaching team, and installing a new goalkeeper coach.

As he won’t be able to buy players and spend big money, but they believe he will get better quality free agents and loan players than the previous managers.

Ex-French international midfielder and former Nottingham Forest manager Lamouchi, 51, has already established the Bluebirds CAN sign free transfers and PAY loan fees, but NOT transfer fees.

Every new signing Cardiff make HAS to be ratified by the EFL Board of which ex-Bluebirds Chairman Peter Ridsdale and former Swansea City CEO Trevor Birch are members with HIGHLY influential tentacles.

Expect Lamouchi to target talent he has worked with previously and recruit from the French and European leagues where he believes there is greater value for money.

That sounds promising.

We’ll have JC and Ebou Adams almost like new players. Plus a returning Robinson.

We do need more running power in midfield and some creativity out wide but I really don’t think we’re looking at signing 17 new players like last season.

I’d like us to re-sign Kipre and Kaba (Philogene way out of our league) if we could spend money but that looks increasingly unlikely unfortunately.

This is what I'm hoping for. He must have better contacts in the game than the last 2 managers.

I have actually got some faith in Sabri

He has probably got some decent contacts all over Europe and if he is given some leeway in regards wages for loan players and free transfers I think he will definitely improve this team

I hope Sabri stays so this sounds promising

Good. He will bring in better players being an ex French international. I can imagine that status will attract a few promising guys.

I saw what he did at Forest and although his team ran out of steam it was there to be built on. If he is happy to give us a go then that is a good start.

Been told we can give money on loans, but no transfer fees. I do know every signing has to be specially ratified by the EFL which Cardiff are not happy about. I don't certain people on the EFL Board are particularly pro-Cardiff City!

Does sound good.

Like others said, Sabri has contacts so we could get some good free agents.

Important to keep him as a manager for stability and glad they'll let him bring his own coaches in now.

He's earned this.

So this is actually a bit of good news.

With the Riddler and the JB on efl board what hope have we.

Good to hear that he's looking at bringing in a new goalkeeping coach.

I can only think that the current coaching regime advocate that goalkeepers must stay on their line at all times when the opposition play crosses or corners into our penalty area.

Does the EFL not understand the concept of "conflict of interests"?

How can board members with links to certain clubs be allowed to pass rules which may adversely affect rival teams in the same division?

Surely board members should be completely independent of any EFL team?

The fact that a character such as Ridsdale with his let's just say "dubious" behaviour in the past can be a board member tells you all you need to know about the EFL.

I dont no the ins and outs of the embargo but we yet again go into another season with one arm tied behind our backs.
Its a gamble yet again and you can't expect us to be contenders for the top six with that plan of action.
We are stuck in a rut and until we settle all this its groudhog day again.
Sabri deserves better but he is happy to give it a go with that shower of shit ill back him and the team .
What else can we do.
There's always something isnt there holding us back off the pitch.
I hope we get some good news soon from the federal court but until then its same same a giant mess .
Good luck to everything ccfc for next season it cant last forever.

Offers a glimmer of hope at least, I like the idea of looking for players Sabri knows in the European Leagues.

I would rather have Sabri with limited funds than Morison and Hudson with a bucket load, he's the best Manager we've had for years. With some backing and preseason, I think he can make a big improvement if we lose Sabri I think we are right in the shit.

I like sabri but lets be honest he will only be replacing what we have lost the 3 loans kipre philogene kaba and hopefully something better but what a shame we cannot keep these
Same as doyle and dramhem the season before how can you build a team if the best have to leave.

Perhaps someone can help with the loan system when paying fees and part of the salary.

Isn't a standard loan, a fee and say paying 20% of the players salary?

What is to stop us requesting that there is no loan fee but we pay 33% of the salary.
