Mr Tan

Mon May 08, 2023 8:08 pm

I've mostly sat on the fence since the rebrand reverse, I attended the 'back to blue' protests but also appreciate he has kept us afloat since.

Anyway, I can see next season turning very sour if we have to go through this again, in fact I think it will turn very toxic for him.

So he only has two choices in my eyes, pay the sala fee and back us or sell us.

If neither then we will have to drive him out, and his puppets

100%
Enough is enough
Can't see him paying the Sala fee anytime soon so looks like option 2 :old: :old: :old:

He cannot go on like this, he either wants a football club run well or he does not.

Belligerence now stopping him selling, what kind of businessman does that .

I have supported City since 1975 Always gone down with my uncle and cousins My uncle has been going since the 50s We all agreed that this season suck the life out of us as City supporters Don’t get me wrong we have seen so many bad times in a much lower level than we were playing now However we always were looking forward to the next season as the last game of the current season was played.
For the first time in 40 years we are not renewing season tickets Don’t take that as if we will not be at games The combination of things such as age , distance of travel are now a factor But the biggest factor was the shit we had to watch this season At least when we were really shit , we were shit but with passion.
In the real world we should be praising an owner who during his tenure we reached the top league twice and went to to cup finals. However his lack of communication with the fans is shocking The majority of fans could have forgiven his mistake of making us play in red as an uneducated move.
Time for him to go now

I thought the embargo will remain whether Tan pays Nantes or not?

Rumours and more rumours that talks did not go well today to the point that the appointment of Lamouchi was 'unlikely'

It is only rumour.

I for one was quietly confident that this seasons performances had jolted a few heads amongst the powers that be.

Perhaps they have, perhaps they havent.

Suffice to say, in my humble opinion if Mr Tan cannot agree to the requests of SL, which we know, due to embargos will still only onclude frees and loans, then what are we gping to end up with next year?

WOL, who, in my opinion, dont report in an unbias fashion, say that no pre season has been planned?

Our managerial crisis needs sorting NOW!

If SL is not given at least some support from the board, then our club will simply contimue to be an absolute shambles of a hot mess.

I was a Tan fan after he put us back blue, but lately i just cant understand his logic.

Cardiff are losing money and its costing him, if he had a bit of focus on us and used his loaf, invested money instead of wasting money we could be making HIM money while we enjoy better football.

Its not even about buying players for millions, we showed you can get players like Philo and Kipre on loan without mega bucks fees.

But hes kinda just left Cardiff and its just eating money.

Step one need to get a DoF in
Step two communicate wit DoF
Step three proper manager
Step four sort out Sala case

Surely even the most staunch Tan supporters have had enough. I know there are a few stubborn ones that think he’s the Messiah. Those that say he’s the best chairman we’ve ever had, rubbish. The most stubborn, egocentric, dictator like.

I wouldn't listen to The Canton End on Twitter. Unless it is you, even then I'd have a think before listening.

I've made my decision.

If Tan refuses to pay the Sala fee and the embargo remains in place, I will not be renewing my season ticket for the first time since the mid-seventies. Court case or no court case.
I can't see Lamouchi staying at the club with no money to spend, or any other quality manager wanting to join us in these circumstances.

I also think it's about time the fans reacted with further regular demonstrations and not just before a one-off match as a token-gesture!

I agree about organising demonstrations for greater fan representation. we should boycott the food and beer one game, pushing for higher standards with better pricing. But we lack organisation. Tan has clearly never understood football, illustrated by the rebrand and how it was handled. Are we just economic units to this current regime? I'd also like to see the Canton Stand moved to the opposite end nearer the away fans so we can actually hear them. i think this would be popular and enhance the day out.

I'd just be worried who replaced Tan, better the devil you know maybe. Especially with our history of terrible owners.

If everyone thought like that no one would ever take a risk, or improve their situation.

List all the crazy things Tan has done and I’d struggle to find another owner as bad as him.

Hmmmmm ……….. that’s all very subjective but if you, like I, have supported the club for 50+ years then there’s a lot of nutters to choose from in that group.

Tan’s red decision was probably the worst of any owner but many other owners not only screwed us over but some just simply did nothing other than take from the club. That makes them as bad/worse.

I’m really struggling to think of a single owner who put money in or left us in a better state than he found us (financially).

Good God, now there's a list to open the can of worms LMAO.
