Bristol Rovers have contacted Cardiff and asked if we are interested in playing a pre-season friendly there

Would be good for our fans and team as they are a strong league 1 team.

Might have to see if we got a manager or even a team in place the way everything is dragging on, players futures need sorting ASAP.

Normally I do one pre-season away game, did Cheltenham last year which was a good day out.

Shocking ground worst I've ever been to . they've tried to give it the big one a few times I don't like them .

But make no bones, they don't like us and it is a derby...

Used to love it but Eastville is now IKEA.
Even saw George Best play there against the Gas for Fulham ( I think) when staying with my cousin in Thornbury.

Will our lot be able to arrange it before the season starts, took Tan, 6 months to talk to his manager, and the other two seem to prefer to stay anywhere but Cardiff, if we are to believe what has been said.

mid late 70s going to eastville...they used to run specials to stapleton rd .absoulute carnage.in ground 1 time on the open end .it was nearly full...sadly i think 1 train was held up .because a city fan got killed in the seven tunnel,but apart from that a great trip to have
