Steve Morison overtakes Nathan Jones
A little bit of movement in the market this morning as Steve Morison shoots into second place behind Sol Bamba, leapfrogging Nathan Jones.
Kevin Phillips won't go away, either...
Sol Bamba 1/5
Steve Morison 8/1
Nathan Jones 9/1
Kevin Phillips 16/1
Update:
I was told last night on good authority that Dalman wanted Lamouchi and Tan def did not.
Tan had lined up Morison to return, But Dalman is trying to talk Tan against this and is getting more say due to his increased lending to Tan at 9% interest.
Tan does listen to Dalman but as Dalman says, Tan will have the final say.

Steve Morison odds get cut from 28/1 to 14/1
Cardiff City next manager odds in full (updated)
Sol Bamba 1/6
Nathan Jones 9/1
Steve Morison 14/1
These three have all been sent to me by different people including a person at the club and one from their club that are all in contention for the Cardiff City job under the current Hierarchy.
Steve Morison unbelievable: if true? As Tan and Morison left each other after a bad row over the Huddersfield away game.
Very inexperienced and No one has wanted some he left Cardiff.
Scott Brown Fleetwood / Not achieved anything.
Nathan Jones , experienced Manager.

Please note the final choice of new team manager will be on a "Dutch Auction" basis. Whichever of the interviewees tenders the lowest cost for running the playing side of the club will inevitably be appointed!!

Morison selection does not surprise me.
Personally his playing from the back gave me a few heart attacks during a game. He claimed if he had a striker who was scoring the goals then their confidence levels would have risen with his plan of playing from the back. Well yes if they knew they were going to score even with this squad.
I just wonder of Morison does come back it will be on the condition he can have Sory back.

Of course, the cheaper the better for Tan and note he has to be totally controlled.

Annis, are we to assume someone within Fleetwood has mention Brown, as the other two are not in management?
Strong indicator if the source is from within another club.

Correct Wayne.
They said that he had put his name down and had already chatted to our club twice.

Nathan Jones out of those 3…
Bamba no experience…
Morison hardly any ..
Club seems to just want to survive and not thrive ..
Always looking for cheap option…
Board and Tan have lost all credibility even with those who previously had some belief in them

Always hated how Steve Morison got the boot.
He was the guy who had to rebuild an ageing team and he was never given the season to prove himself.
He alongside Hudson should've been kept in charge.
So I would welcome Steve Morison to return and have bamba as his assistant. And maybe Hudson too.
Let's face it whoever is in charge he wont have the experience needed for this league, and will eventually get the boot after a poor run of games which would make us go into the relegation zone.

They so desperately need a director of football they have no idea at all its pot luck .
No forward movement in our club its groundhog day everyday but even that could get worse.
Its a total mess with those names being mentioned.
The only one is nathan jones really.
They have an interview process for what .
Look over the years they've opponent some shit haven't they.
No confidence in the board or the process they go through.
My question is still and has been for years why dont they appoint some to advise them.
Tan by now should no he knows jack about football the proof is the there to see.
No feel good factor nothing to look forward to and who is even gonna in interested in managing us with all this crap going on.
Good luck to the new manager hes gonna need it working in that environment.

So this is easy - "lowest cost " - Only 1 man for the job ..... Martin Lewis the money expert

Annis,
Who do you think it'll be?
I'd be suprised if morrison comes back, he basically told tan to do one for interfering in team affairs? So what's changed?

Well Tan usually gets what he wants Morison, But Dalman is fighting like mad saying NO, Dalman has increased his interest Big time with big loans to Tan / City.
They’ve now both agreed not Lamouchi even though Salman def wanted him.

Would like Morison back should never have left. A clear work in progress style change needed time and patience. Fans mostly gave it but Tan didn't
Thu May 18, 2023 11:18 am
Aside from the lack of goals from allsop and Alnwick. Anyone know why tan didn’t fancy lamouchi who did exactly as asked?
Is it being stung before with second season bounce with a manager?
I dare say he’s a stronger manager than Harris and mick.

Reappointing Morison would some up the 3 clowns
Sacked by the club for disciplinary reasons , signed a load of piss poor players, poor with the media, no other club would employ him yet considered good enough to reappoint 9 months later

It's absolutely written in the stars to continue with the shambles of a club we're turning into.
Get the amazon cameras in, at the least it would be a solid revenue stream for us.
Not one other club would re-appoint Morisson considering how he departed and how un-linked he's been to any other club in his absence.
