Mehmet Dalman has confirmed the club have not yet made a decision on their next boss.

Cardiff are looking at 'four or five' possible candidates for the role.

"We have an interview process which is going on. No decision has been made on any manager at this stage."

Cardiff chairman Mehmet Dalman, the club are hopeful that Lamouchi will stay on as manager next season.

"The next question is where we go from here. None of us want to go through a year like that again. It was frustrating, disappointing, extremely hard work - and I'm normally an optimist.”


"What we doing is talking to Sabri, ask how he sees things, listen to his feedback. He's greatly impressed us and I think he will stay. Put it this way, I've no reason to believe his thoughts on the future are any different to ours."

Cardiff wrote in a statement: "Cardiff City Football Club can confirm that Sabri Lamouchi will depart at the conclusion of his current deal," they wrote in a statement.

"Sabri joined the Bluebirds at the end of January 2023, overseeing 18 fixtures, and winning six matches. Cardiff City would like to thank Sabri for his efforts and contribution in helping us secure our place in the Championship for 2023/24 and wish him all the very best for the future.

"The Board of Directors at Cardiff City FC have already begun the process of appointing a new management team."

We can bleat on about how awful the current regime is but what is the common sense answer to the situation.

They are not going to "f**k off far away" unless someone else comes in to take it off their hands.

Whatever the asking price..... its the asking price, end of. Are we THAT poor an investment opportunity or are we overlooked as we are west of the border.

We all bang on about catchment area and potential. How come no one with cash sees it.

I've hardly been on here recently working all the time as you know , you've got to much time on your hands .stay out of ricks bar nothing you say or do will alter the ownership of the club . Tan and the club will do what they want but some people kick off over rumours with lets face it is a bit pathetic, for that reason I can't be bothered anymore , the politics of the club doesn't really interest most fans they just want to see a successful season , I've always said to you we are one manager from promotion maybe next season .no point 2nd guessing what's going to happen untill it's official.

Is it just me or does it seem like the club are pushing Dalman out? (which I hope they are) so he gives interviews saying I believe sabri will stay. Nothing has nene said to suggest different. Then sarbi announces he's leaving. Rumours break out that bamba was offered the job straight away and now he comes out and says that's not true. We're interviewing. If bamba does indeed get the job. Then it makes him look like a liar and like he doesn't know whats going on at the club.

Hopefully there is a divide in the boardroom now. Could cause one of the 3 clowns to decide to demand their money back and walk away.
