It is the third year in a row and fifth time in six seasons that they have won the title.

The result also means Nottingham Forest will be staying in the Premier League. Southampton are already down with two of Leicester, Leeds and Everton joining them. That will go down to the final day next weekend.

City still hope to win the treble, with an FA Cup Final against Manchester United and a Champions League Final against Inter Milan upcoming.
