Nathan Jones is being linked with both Cardiff City and Swansea City:

Nathan Jones sad he’s refreshed and ready to manage again.

NATHAN JONES:


"When you are a manager, when you are in there, it consumes you in every aspect of your life," he said.

"I've enjoyed a bit of family time, I've been away on holiday which I don't get to do in March and so on.

"I'm really looking forward to my next challenge. I'm refreshed and ready.

"I'm a builder - I like to build. I like to be at places for a long time. Ironicially I believe our work is deep, it's not just results-based.

"I believe if you look at my previous club, we built a club there that wasn't reliant on just a manager being in place. The processes, the recruitment, every single thing, the structure, the culture, the philosophy, everything is in place there and has been for a long, long time.

"I left on two occasions but the club kept doing well, so it shows that whatever had been built there has been built on solid foundations and that's what I like to do. I'm not a fly-by-night manager, I don't like to chop and change. If I do chose a project or project comes to me, the it's one I really think I'm going to be there and be able to do good, good work and that's the kind of thing I want to do."

Go get him while we can, the timing looks perfect, I doubt Swansea style would suit him.

Problem being here is we haven't any of the things in place that he likes and can anyone see Tan and the two muppets leaving him to as he says build?

Agree, would be an extremely strange move by them so can't see it happening.

Personally I don't think he's as great as some on here make out anyway. Wouldn't be that inspired if he got the job with us, then again the same can be said about all the names mentioned.

Hate to say it but look at all the managers Swansea interview and take one of them coz they seem to get it right 8 times of 10 we get it wrong 8/10. Guess a big difference is, they know what they want in terms of style. We don't it's more of a gamble employ and hope.

John Toshack revisited. Couldn't stand it if he went there and took them up and lets be honest they have a squad good enough to compete at the top of the championship.
