Not much you can do too keep a kid at that age When a premier league team comes in most will move Not sure you can blame City for this

if anything, the FA should be blamed, this was designed to allow the bigger clubs to poach youngsters very cheaply without having to pay large compensation fee's or negotiating with clubs.

How does a 'pre-scholarship' work ? Presumably he's about 12 or 13 yrs old ?

The academy has been producing talent for years now only for the bigger teams to poach them .the fa really need to sort this out ! .yes we have got millions in compensation in the last few years but we need these players to progress into our 1st team .

I think some of us need to realise that we are not a club that can keep its best products as we are simple not up there to do so.
