Gold Cardiff Replica Shirt/Help a fellow bluebird out

Many people know me as the person who once threw on the gold Cardiff replica shirt on stage at a Stone Roses gig in Newport which Ian Brown wore and which later caused a riot.

My brother managed to find one of these shirts for me and gave it to me as a Christmas present a few years ago.

I decided to wear the shirt again to Ian Brown's solo gig in Cardiff a couple of nights ago. I was hoping I could get it signed.

However, caught up in the moment, I decided to throw it on stage again. This time he didn't wear it, but decided to give it away to someone to the side of the stage (we were quite central). There was no way this person, who later posted about it on a fb fans' page (Clare Rose) was going to give it back.

I realise it was quite a silly thing to do and in a way I could no longer claim ownership of the shirt. But I will miss it and my brother wasn't very impressed that I lost it.

Does anyone else have the shirt that they'd be willing to sell for a reasonable sum?

I did have it as I remember wearing it in Birmingham all covered but still getting dirty looks.

It had that weird longer back than front with CCFC on the bottom.

The ruddy thing was visible below my jacket.

Tel me about it. I sold a Lotto South Wales Echo shirt on here and never got paid. I've seen similar sold for about £150 recently.

If you could have a look Wayne that would be great. I would offer a reasonable amount or I could put a package together for you. I have a black Stone Island cap which I don't wear much which you could have plus a copy of my book The Blues are Back in Town plus some cash.

Basically, I threw the shirt on at Newport 95 and he wore it (when I threw the same style shirt on at his solo gig recently, surprise surprise he didn't). It didn't immediately cause a riot. That happened afterwards and is documented in the Soul Crew book. I have also dedicated a chapter to my own experience in my book The Blues are Back in Town.
