A forum for all things Cardiff City

I’m not saying I’m for or against this but could this happen?
It’s been said on here that he’s put in quite a lot of his own money with a high interest into our club, stood up to Tan over the new manager and a few years ago wanted to buy Charlton(I think).
I don’t know if he’s that wealthy or would need a consortium.

Thought this yesterday, did him and his consortium pull the Charlton purchase as to be honest we should be a better proposition as a capital city club rather than a club which is really surrounded by the very big clubs in London.
Yes, I do know London is a capital too. Lol

no idea if theres any truth in him buying the club, but i was told the reason he pulled out of the Charlton deal was because he couldn't own any interest in 2 clubs in the same league system, so would have had to called in all his loans to cardiff, or cut the losses and walked away with nothing in return, financially it was better for him to maintain his loans to cardiff rather than buying a new club

Money was lent to cardiff after the Charlton deal fell through so it wasn't due to owning two clubs , also dalman doesn't own shares in Cardiff he just lent the club money .

I don't think he has that sort of money even though he has supposedly lent us a lot. He could have borrowed that at 5% and lent it to us at 9%! He would more than likely head a consortium. As an investment banker he has quite a lot of connections. Not ideal but I think he knows a damn sight more about the business side of running a football club than the other two clowns.

Certainly everything is not well between Tan and Dalman You can see that with the quotes lately
I think even Dalman would be better than Tan and Choo is just a go between Just ask yourself would Choo get another job in football A resounding NO
