PLAY OFFS/FA CUP/CARLING CUP

Seeing a CCFC lose a play off final to a team in orange brought back some horrible memories !
How things change. Fa cup or carling didn’t feel aa bad. As they say, it’s the hope that kills you !

That was by far the worse football feeling. Wales Russia was horrible but that one was worse. Liverpool was tough but the lads played so well and really couldn’t have done anymore. Pompey I think we were just happy to be there and enjoy the occasion, but looking back……..that was winnable.

That game against Blackpool will never be erased from the memory. Horrible day. Obviously the key moment was probably Bothroyd going off injured, Hamer going off injured today for Coventry was another flashback to that game as was as the team in orange.

Portsmouth was disappointing as that was a big chance to win the FA Cup, probably won't get a chance like that again.

Liverpool was more pride than anything. We were up against a far superior team and battled back to get it to penalties. It was also our last season in blue before the rebrand so actually got good memories of that day.
