Tom Lockyer celebrates with his family from his hospital bed
Tom Lockyer's family have shared a heart-warming snap of the Luton Town skipper celebrating his side's play-off final win from his hospital bed.
The Wales international left the Wembley showpiece with Coventry City on a stretcher after collapsing off the ball just 10 minutes in, amid worrying scenes.
The 28-year-old tried and failed to get to his feet, and required medical attention from both sets of staff, before leaving the field on a stretcher.
He was seen receiving oxygen as he left the pitch, with his family rushing down from the stands to check on his condition.
Luton eventually went on to win a gripping final 6-5 on penalties after Gustavo Hamer had previously cancelled out Jordan Clark's opener for the Hatters, which incidentally arrived just minutes after Lockyer's withdrawal.
