Some long away trips next season

Mon May 29, 2023 4:53 pm

Sunderland
Middlesbrough
Norwich
Ipswich
Hull
Sheffield
Leeds

No doubt Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday will be charging close on £40 a ticket.

Love going to those places David.

And some big crowds

And if we were in the Premier League, We would sell out at everyone of those places.

You're right about the big crowds Annis at all the grounds mentioned.

Our away support has been pretty good over the last few seasons and our away form has also been not too bad.

We really need to get our home form sorted.

I remember our first time in the Premier League - Sunderland away on a Sunday (early kick off I think?) then the following Saturday Newcastle away. Lost both (a certain Connor Wickham scored for Sunderland I think) and relegation confirmed after the Newcastle defeat.

Worked out that I'd spent 24 hours on a coach in less than a week for two defeats, seven goals conceded, none scored and we were relegated.

Such is the life of a City fan - we'll be back next season! :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Guarantee they'll overcharge away fans, especially Leeds.

I think they can only charge up to £30 for away fans in PL so it'll be back to high prices.

Plymouth, Swansea, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Ipswich and Norwich have more miles to travel than us.
