We are just a toy to vincent Tan, And for those people defending him and saying careful what you wish for brigade, vincent has done nothing for our club the last 4 years and those saying Tan puts money into the club to keep us afloat. thats what majority of owners do anyways in most football clubs and most are in debt like us. Further more our Chairman is the one putting into the club at the moment.

So with vincent chosing to stay away and turn up at games i think hes chosen to be a spoilt childish owner that has and is spitting his dummy out. We all know this Club would be in a better place if it was RUN Better and got more involved with its fans instead of Lieing. We all see the truth.

Very good interview that Annis.

Sharing what Tan said to you is interesting. You certainly left him knowing where you stand. I honestly believe he was told that if he could win you over then the Rebrand would be a success. Talk about nipping it in the bud.

I'm glad you mentioned the efforts of Sian and BU. Although BU struggled with its own infighting it was definitely our Backbone to getting our colours back. We have not quite got everything back but we have certainly stopped the Rebrand train.

Thank you Ian, :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

As always I say it as it is, even if it upsets some, But the truth needs to come out.

We still have not got our badge back

Sian was a massive help in the last year of our battle to get our identity back.

I do think Tan thought I would be a walk over, but I never gave in once and would really have taken 2 relegations to keep our pride and identity.

So much plain common sense spoken there, I’ve never been able to get my head around how VT believed that he could come into a club with 100 years plus of history and try to erase the past and rebuild things in the image he wanted, the view that this was HIS club immediately drove a wedge between himself and the very people he needed to bring on board, those who had been there through thick and thin, yes we’ve had some highs during this period of his oversight and it would be churlish not to concede that but even the highs have been accompanied by a background of unrest and mistrust of his real motives.

Sadly, I think we’ve now hit rock bottom no communication,no apparent direction, worse of all for me, the overwhelming feeling of the fans being treated with absolute contempt by the hierarchy of the club, there doesn’t seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel we seem to be in at the moment.

Great interview, it shows what an arrogant person he is.

I don't blame you for not shaking his hand, I wouldn't shake the hand of someone who goes back on his word either.

I also haven't forgiven him for the rebrand and I've been asked many times why, and my simple answer is, he hasn't apologised........ not that I would even if he did :laughing6:

I said it at the time of madness to Tan we are a Burger franchise plain and simple, trouble is the meat has gone off.

Thank you.

That’s how I saw him in the end arrogant and No respect and it really hurt.

He was not Sorry at all.

Very stubborn man god knows how he made all his millions why the board don't get a couple of fans in that care about the club they would give up their time for nothing or speak to football people that know about the club when making football decisions like the scum do when appointing new managers eg Alan curtis, trundle and britton We would be in a better place if Dai hunt was chairman :bluebird:

i listened to this last night, i won't lie, i have no idea who half the people mentioned were, i have heard of vince alm, but when you said the others something valleys, i genuinely don't know them, but this was one of the hardest times as a fan for me personally. i work every saturday so for the past god knows how many years my cardiff games have been bank holidays and mid week fixtures, but the moment they announced they were going red, i boycotted the club. and didn't return until we went back blue. people would talk about football, but that period was awful for me, i just didn't like football anymore because of the rebrand

The problem is Tan gets what ever he wants in Malaysia and that’s why he is like he is.

He has struggled very badly in Europe and America.

Thank you.

For me it was the worst years of following Cardiff City in 50 plus years.

I honestly would rather the 4th Division days, at least us fans were United and the players cared for us.

I walked out at half time at the first game in red. Just couldn't get into it. We were in red and -Huddersfield i think it was- were in blue.

And I remember the first home game in the Premier watching all these plastic fans walking past with their red on- still outnumbered by us in blue mind you- and thinking how i had waited all my life for this moment and it had been spoilt.

I can still remember the feeling when we walked out at Bournemouth in BLUE for the first Premier game second time round. That to me was the special moment i had been waiting for.

So thanks to all of you who kept it going.

Finally had a few minutes to look at the interview and it was consistent with my own conversations with Annis

Often, we are not in a position to see the backround stuff that goes on but it 100% appears that the current owner 'played' many people and always intended to change the colours

The part(s) others played in facilitating those initial changes is for them to reconcile themselves with and that some no longer attend (so no longer support in my eyes) speaks volumes and isn't necessarily a bad thing...

I honestly don’t know , there were rumours he was moved away from Tans little empire and no one knew anymore??
