Over 10,000 Season Tickets have now been sold in just over four weeks!
BUT THEY ARE VERY CHEAP FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP / IMAGINE IF WE WERE A WELL RUN CLUB / NOT HAD A DREADFUL HOME RECORD / HAD A GOOD MANAGER / QUALITY TEAM & NOT FINISHED ONE PLACE ABOVE RELEGATION
No matter what Regime or Dictator is in charge of our great club, our fans have shown their loyalty to their club as always

I've never believed in Boycotting regardless how bad it gets but that belief has been put to the test under this owner.

At what point will fans realise that the only way to get change is to hit the Tan in his pockets?? It was after a low turn out and big cash hit after an FA Cup game that the decision to return to Blue was taken....this on top of protests. If we wanted change, then ST sales should have been targeted to send a message. Thats if 10k is even accurate...which it may be of corporate etc have all renewed.
I get following a team, supporting the team etc, but putting money in to the hands of a clown many of us now want out just seems like total and utter folly. For each person who says they want Tan out yet has renewed, I bet you he is in Kuala Lumpa laughing his absolute boll**s off at you.
Support the team by watching on Sky every time when we are shown, go to the odd game thats not on...but to get change, you have to hit his pocket...that way the message is clear.

Well there is very little you can argue against that on a logical scale. What you have got to consider though is you cannot support a team unless you are there.

So in a nutshell, "support the team by bankrupting the club" or you could still protest whilst respecting other peoples point of view.

If it helps to force the sale of the club to parties who people on here claim are willing to buy,it should be an deen as a poasible option. I totally get people wanting to go, goid on them and I will not say stop...just putting the question out there of is it the most effective way to bring change??

Thats the tricky one isnt it. Saying that, out if the 5 Million Agentines that turned out on the Streets if Bs As in December....how many were actually in Qatar? Its tricky I agree...thats why I think pick games...still go and support but lack of STs would show Tan that dont take it for granted and dont count on our unconditional support to him personally

That’s a pretty impressive figure to be fair and a lot more than I thought it would be at this stage
I’m definitely not renewing but will probably attend 6 or 7 home games and a few aways
A 70 mile round trip on a cold Tuesday night is not something that excites me anymore

The parties willing to buy have been told that it will not be sold to them as, 1. Tan will not sell to SH. 2. Its a crazy price.
To be fair to Annis he has said many many times about his preference for a purchaser but that bird has flown.

I am one of the "fcuk them, I've had a gutful", but renewed a few hours before the first deadline.......
But, on the flip side if you were a potential buyer what an upside, no matter what shit is thrown at the fans, an L1 squad, no manager or communication, 10K in the first wave that will probably hit 14K by the season start
A bit of excitement, a new owner and who knows where we could end up....

It's shows that 20 yes in the top 2 leagues will increase your fan base whatever the circumstances.
Imagine what 4/5 concecutive yrs in the prem would do

It's a fantastic amount of season ticket sales but same all over the country.football crowds are at theirs highest level since the 1950s we hark on about the past(myself included) but support was never this level in the 70s 80s 90s unless it was a big cup game or end of season promotion game

still seems low to me, how many did we sell last season?

It is compared to the last few seasons but historically, it is still a good figure and even more so with the constant negativity surrounding the club's running in recent times...

It's only been early bird renewal so far .I know lots who ate waiting till july I suspect it won't be too far off last seasons total, also might be more depending on players and managers coming in .

yeah i hope so. but normally the early bird sales will be the vast majority of the total. if there are 5k ish who havent renewed thats obviously a bit of an issue.
things on and off the pitch obviously dictate, just need to ride it out and hope things improve.

Paulh,
The early birds are the majority of the sales, one many fans love renewing straight away, but two its much cheaper

At the moment there are two full months before the season starts, so plenty of time

Apart from inside the club, which to be fair are offering an amazing price, folk have more to think about than season tickets at the moment, I know the fuel and ticket has done me so I will select games, as for in club dramas, well, we have always had them.so what.
Fri Jun 02, 2023 4:54 pm
4 of my friends renewed today so I expect a larger total , remember season tickets went on sale much later this year than previous years . I think we will definitely get as many if not more than last season .

Like you said 2 months to go .a friend of mine today also got his 1st for a long time and got his son his 1st ever season ticket for 69 pound great value. I've noticed that there's been a big push on advertising this week for general sale on.the radio too.
