Just seen the disgusting abuse English referee Anthony Taylor and his family were subjected to by Roma fans at Budapest Airport today. A link to the video on Twitter below.
He was in charge of the Europa League final there, where Roma lost to Sevilla on penalties.
Roma manager Jose Mourinho angrily confronted Taylor in the car park after the game, swearing at him repeatedly.
I've been a fan of Mourinho in the past but that sort of behaviour is unacceptable from a manager. He has contributed heavily towards the abuse Taylor had to go through at the airport.
The behaviour of Mourinho and his coaches during the game was ridiculous as well.
UEFA say they will wait for the referee's report before deciding whether to punish Mourinho, but I think he should get a big ban from the touchline.
Hopefully these Roma fans at the airport will be punished as well.

The fact that the riff raff were as close as they were to him is a major failure. Guessing it was his wife with him. Ugly scenes.

It was his wife and thankfully UEFA are taking a dim view of events...
I liked what Mourinho initially brought to football over here but he has wellnoverstepped the mark now and a lengthy ban is the only option that may send a message to the increasing number who think referees are fair target; often for their own failures...

The NOT so special one is nothing more than a spoilt brat who got lucky, when he didn't have millions to spend he won f**k all.
He wants a ban so he can get out of Roma.
Disgusting scenes, ban them from all tournaments for 3 years that will send the message out.

I watched the game and thought Anthony Taylor was excellent. He handled the game superbly. The Italians were a disgrace from start to finish, challenging every decision he made, even the most obvious fouls. The bench were a disgrace too. Clearly a ploy by mourinho to try and intimidate the match officials. Massive ban on its way for manager and club I think.

Agree, he had a good game and it was a difficult one to manage.
Roma and Mourinho should be punished heavily.

When Mourinho spoke about dignity I almost threw up,Taylor did an exceptional job In very trying circumstances, Michael Oliver found himself with the job from hell as fourth official, surely UEFA must take strong action against this petulant appallingly rude and arrogant individual,or am I asking for too much?.

i just watched it now, what a f***king disgrace, first off, how were fans allowed anywhere near him, that could of turned out alot worse, there needs to be severe punishment handed to Roma, their fans and Mourinho. i often find myself disagreeing with refs, but he's just doing his job
