BREAKING: Neil Warnock agrees to stay on as Huddersfield Town manager next season after coming out of retirement to inspire remarkable Championship relegation escape
The most experienced manager in the history of English league football with 1619 professional games on his CV came out of retirement last season to inspire a remarkable relegation escape at Huddersfield, who survived in the Championship with one game to spare having been seven points adrift when the veteran boss took over in February.

No surprise; love Neil Warnock but it's a circus show with his 'I'm retiring again' rhetoric
He just wants the adulation but will make sure Huddersfield move on from last season

Chris,
I put out on here as soon as Huddersfield were safe, their new owners asked him to stay on, he then went home had covid and then said yes.
He honestly asked to come back here last season.

No brainer for Huddersfield, did an unbelievable job again last season.
I'll wish him luck, apart from the games against us obviously.

Him staying is bad news for us. They'll be comfortably safe in my opinion

Annis you did and I said it, too (he wanted back and had a conversation)
My point was that he can only cry wolf so many times over his retirement. That has got as repetitive and boring as a barnet blue post!
