Özgün Koyutürk our new managers agent! .

Sat Jun 10, 2023 7:03 am

Bulut’s agent has brokered deals for Radamel Falcao, Steven Nzonzi and Jean Michael Seri.
Worked with super agents Jorge Mendes and Ahmet Bulut.
His phone book might determine who cardiff bring in this summer

Nasty word Agent.

Dream on, we are in case anyone hasn't notice under a transfer embargo which our BOD has happily sat on because in their alternative universe gives them an excuse for no transfer fees , loan players and low wages!

Ahmut Bulut, Wez...? :?

Thought it was more than a coincidence but can't find any links between the pair other than the surname and they are both Turkish...

As an aside, I learned Erol Bulut's name translates into 'Brave Cloud', far better than 'Jimmy Mermaid' Diego Maradonna, so let's hope we're soon floating on one rather than remaining under one...! :laughing6: :ayatollah:

Your a barrel of laughs . our new manager is on more money than Warnock you think he would come in unless he had decent players lined up ? Cardiff have always been good payers. You think Robinson and Rhinomota came in cheap last year? Reading said we blew them out of the water with our offers.

Exactly, Fulham had Harry Wilson on loan not to break ffp .

And they also had Bobby Decadover Reid off us the same way if I remember right.

A season long loan ,paying full wages plus a post dated cheque !
It seems quite a lot of teams do this to keep within FFP. Have our board got the awareness to do this , that's another question ?

The Manager spoke about how many players in Turkey were without a club there contracts had been cancelled when they had to postpone the league due to the earthquake. He mentioned international players from Turkey Germany Greece looking for clubs. So no payments for transfers or loans required. Let’s see what he has up his sleeve. Also as mentioned besides these players without a club and contract there are ways around signing a player and having to pay a fee.
It’s a different approach from the hierarchy so let’s give them a chance. Season ticket sales are up on last year potentially a couple of big signings to come so let’s stay positive. Some of the fans on here have us written off already.

Met him and spoke briefly to him on Monday when the new manager was introduced to the fans` groups but didn`t know who he was at the time as I hadn`t then seen the video of the media conference which immediately preceded our meeting.

Interesting, because these things do matter. Obviously the importance of agents is very high now, even compared to previous years.

Some people don't like them, but the reality is they are a vital part of the game when it comes to transfers. Not all of them are good, as we found out with the issues surrounding the sad death of Emiliano Sala, but you can't label all agents the same because of a few like that.

So it's good that our manager has these sorts of contacts, it should stand us in good stead when it comes to targeting certain players that are out of contract.

Wolves had a glut of Portuguese players a few years back so have no problem if we bring in half of turks or greeks it worked for them .

So we may as well not bother watching the team then, because you say we are just going to pay low wages for everyone?

Which is not true by the way. For example, the manager is the highest paid manager we have had for a while.

We are not under an embargo. An embargo means you can't sign players. We just can't pay transfer fees or loan fees - the appeal process to that is underway.

I don't think we'll be paying low wages this summer either. This new manager will be bringing in new players and we will be able to offer them good money to play for us. It would appear that the manager and Dalman see this as an opportunity for the club. I'm looking forward to the business we do this summer, as all the signs suggest we will be able to progress well.

It seems like some, though, are happy to give up before pre season has even started!

If there are many players out of contract around leagues this guy knows. Played with and against him. I have no doubt he'll be sniffing around.

No more league 2 bargains. Tried that, failed. European gambles instead?!

Dear dear me gents , what's all this about being called vermin when pointing out that we are under a transfer embargo! I think most of you are suffering from an affliction called blind faith. I take the point about the knock everything approach but would say the last two years we have been nearly relegated twice so until we see not just signings but decent performances on the pitch judgement should be witheld. Indeed until proven who could have any confidence with the current regime we've got.

If somebody said that they could do this, that and the other twice and had had failed pretty dismally would you trust them to deliver a third time , I wouldn't so before you get all excited let's see what we get on the actual pitch. As for the big money wages yes the two you mention might be the other 12_Morison signed won't be, let's not be delusional about good wages.

As for the vermin called another cheap keyboard warrior who probably lives with his mother and hard as nails typing away in the spare room!

Agents  - Have we lost the power of scouts who are the eyes to spotting players :?:

Rather than the agents - My guy can do this and that and give me a wage to sort this out

I must be dead boring as I am excited about pre season now. If this guy can help us along the way it’s about time we had someone like him.

Happy to wait and see what comes in through the window and how we play.

Makes up for all the S*** we’ve had to put up with last season!!!!!!

Possibly the most intriguing transfer window we’ve had for years. A quick uneducated search online, shows a few of the Gaziantep squad without contracts.

There’s a midfielder by the name of Alexander Merkel, who could quite easily fit the bill.
