Ramsey has not signed the new contract offer by Nice and wants to be nearer his family in Cardiff , in fact with his family.

It’s really down to Dalman and Co to offer a decent contract to him.



Ramsey:

Cardiff City: Ramsey will be taking his young family into consideration when he decides on his future this summer.

Talks about how tough it’s been playing in France without his family.

Good news for us.

It seems to make sense that Ramsey was one of the announcements that Dalman was referring to. You could tell by the reaction of Dalman, Choo and Bulut that they were confident.

It's a totally different situation to Bale, because Ramsey has a connection with this club.

He probably likes the idea of ending his career with two or three years with us. Means he can live at home again with his family.

Hopefully we can get the deal done.

All ties in with what others (not including biglad6) understood to be the case...

The family have just been on a Disney holiday, where I am told they had a photo with the star of the show, Mickey Mouse...

Apparently, Mickey was wearing a 'biglad6' watch...!

It would be amazing if it comes true but after last years Bale saga I wont be getting any hopes up just yet. Agents and sponsors have a very powerful influence on players and Ramsey is no different.

As I said last week before getting shout down by 1 poster on here ( noted ) Rambo will be coming home to the UK .

For the record ( 3 months ago ) - Newcastle and a London based Premier League club were interested at the time .....

Would welcome him back next season - For me if it's not Us .....Would Nottingham Forest not show an interest

IF he comes home surely he had some conversations about the clubs plans for signings?
Cannot see him wanting to be in a end of season relegation battle.
Be nice if he comes to us as then it means we'll have someone in the Welsh team !!

Think he's just putting himself in the shop window with those comments. Would be great if he came here but he still has much more to offer clubs at a higher level than us.

Didn t i read somewhere just around the time Bale was first being hyped, that Ramsey said he would like to finish with city as they had given him his chance in football

I think he wants to come but it'll depend on wages. Won't be getting my hopes up

He'll get offers we won't be able to match financially then we'll see.If someone like Brentford comes in (just up the m4) that'll test his resolve.

contracts end June 30th, however when dealing with out of contract players, a team and player can agree a deal well before hand (sign a pre-agreement in january) as long as its a team playing outside the players current teams nation (e.g. Cardiff could have signed an agreement with him in January, where as Lile or any other French team would of had to wait until may i believe)

I wouldnt be supprised if he not received offers from Forest, Fulham, Bournemouth etc.

It seems 'money' isn't the motivating factor, so we shouldn't dismiss this happening so lightly...

At Juventus Ramsey was on 400k a week, think the guy is set for life tbh. Even at Cardiff on 15-20k a week that's still to most people money of dreams. He's not gonna be in the struggle is he.

Agree about his wages. He's got enough to retire and live comfortable now I assume. It's what level he's looking to play at and if and when he thinks of coming back to Cardiff. Could be this year or he could go prem have problems. Not ever sign back for Cardiff. Guess we will see in few weeks
