Stoke City keen on Bluebirds forward

Stoke City are keeping tabs on Mark Harris as at the end of this month the striker is a free agent.

By Glen Williams

Wales international Harris, 24, who went to the World Cup back in November, is out of contract at Cardiff, but the Bluebirds have offered him fresh terms.

Whether he accepts those terms is still up in the air, with the forward having yet to fully nail his colours to the mast.

Harris' goal return for Cardiff has been way below par, but it would be remiss not to acknowledge the many other things he offers such as his pace, work rate and ability to play out on the wing.

Mark Harris aged 24 , Striker 9 goals in 95 appearances for the Bluebirds in 7 years .

However, some may feel it is time for the striker, who has 9 goals and two assists in 95 appearances for the Welsh capital city club, to start a new journey.

Calling him a forward is stretching it a tad. :D

Hopefully they offer a better contract than we did and he goes.

They can take Colwill as well.

I take it you don’t rate Colwill then, Ned. :laughing6:

I think I’d sell tbh but I just know he’d prosper somewhere else. All a gamble I suppose.

I don't. He shows flashes of quality but not on a consistent basis. Manager after manager have decided he's not good enough to be a regular starter. Also seems to be injured a lot.

He may well go on and do well elsewhere, but I just don't think it's going to work out for him with us.

Just stuck the electric car on charge, give me two hours and I'll have enough to drive Harris up there...

I think the lad tries and tries but he is not a championship player.

Calling him a forward is a bit of a stretch but if Stoke want him who am I to argue.
