And I bet some say stability, which for the last 4 previous seasons many have said that’s what they want.

For me stability is not enough, we need a bit of excitement and should be looking at the play-offs a top 6 place, much smaller clubs achieve this season after season.

Going up as champions lol

Hopefully EB is ruthless enough to see who needs shipping out on loan and finds his own players to replace them. This is his big chance in the EFL so I am looking for improvement top 8 minimum tbh.

Any improvement on last season for me. Top half finish should be a target as a minimum for this club.

For the most part of 20 plus years now we've always been a top half Championship team in and around the playoffs. It saddens me lately to see people to predict we finish in the bottom three on social media sites etc..other fans don't rate us currently. I would like to see us back in the playoffs. We had a time also where we had a few Wembley appearances playoffs, fa cup semi/final, league cup final would be a great boost for the fan base to have a big day out again..obviously playoffs are the most realistic but you never know. Just need something to buzz about as its been a bit gloomy lately.

We don't want a season like the last two, even if we scraped survival again.

Top half has to be the minimum expectation now, with us competing for the top six at the end of the season.

This new manager is our highest paid for a while and now he has to prove he's worth it.

I'm more excited for the new season than I was the last couple of years.

Like Kaba Sory our manager knows if you can showcase your skills in the championship bigger riches are on the horizon. I just want to believe there is a war chest available to him. There are good free's around, we just haven't been shopping in that pool for a while.

Robinson, O'Dowda, Ralls are all proven top end championship performers then we have the lower championship who should be squad players, so we need at least 6 top-end championship caliber players and that's a big ask. We don't need gambles or squad players we need first-teamers

Would be nice to go up, but stay there, if we go up and come back down, I would rather stay in the championship and build our club to be a strong side, I hate struggling every season.

Just an improvement until the embargo is lifted

Looking at the Championship next season, it looks the toughest for years. Who we sign will have a massive say in where we finish.

If we are looking for mediocre players like we mostly signed last season then we’re bang in trouble. If by some miracle we can get quality through the door even with the restrictions we have then we could have a right go.

The next few weeks will be crucial.

Let's see what players Eril beings in first but I'd be happy with stability this season cos it's a tough league with a lot of very good teams. Then push for minimum of play offs the season after.

unfortunately don’t have many hopes for this season aside from maintaining championship status before we can properly go for it next season once the embargo is over. of course that relies on what mr tan is willing to put in, but this season ideally we’re pretty securely safe and players like Colwill, Davies and Etete really push on before we aim big 2024/25.

I’ll take mid-table.

It’s a big ask to challenge playoffs when you’re limited to the free agent market.

If the board are smart enough, they would notice mid-table is a decent finish, extend Bulut and then finally can make player purchases and push for the playoffs or higher.

I think much will depend on the quality of players the manager will be allowed to pursue. If he's made to dredge the lower leagues looking to unearth a gem then I think we may be in trouble this year. My hope is that with the club's backing he will be able to attract quality frees from abroad. In which case I think upper mid table/play-offs could be attainable. I would be very happy with that after the last couple of years we've had to endure.

I think we're dreaming a little if we think we're in the playoffs or going up automatic with free agents only.... That has never happened.

Top half with some nice football then push on with a settled side the season after.

For me top half, flirting with the playoffs as we go into the last 6 games. With the right recruitment and an improvement in our home record who knows. Who would have thought Luton would have gone up this year.

I'd be happy with a top half finish after the season we've just had. Kick on then in the season after and have a good go at the play off's. If this guy sticks around, makes us hard to beat and turns the stadium into a bit if a fortress, it's believable!

And me but let's all say we should be getting top two with our heads in the clouds while smoking a crack pipe because currently this squad is near relegation fodder if we are being realistic imo but we shall see who this new manager is allowed to bring in that's if there even his players and not the goons who decide but blame the manager when it goes wrong.

Aim top 6 …if we then fall just short we will get top half …just excited to see what players the new management team draft in .

Between 12th and 15th would be nice. Playoff competition a bonus but I'd rather we were safe early and then maybe tried a run in the cup or something. Just want stability!

Avoiding the bottom three will exceed my expectations, we've taken all the good players out of a poor team and can't pay a fee and have a Manager I've never heard of who's never managed in the Championship.
