Erol Bulut arrives back in Cardiff on Friday, will attend Wales v Armenia game at CCS.




Erol Bulut is currently in Turkey with his backroom staff.

Erol, has called for the whole first team squad to come back a week early from their Summer.

In that week and watching last seasons videos, he will asses who he feels needs to go out on loan to free positions up for around 10 new players.

Erol had NO say in the new offer of contracts to Mark Harris , Joel Bagan etc as it was done before he agreed the managers job.
So if they accept they are def not guaranteed to be starting next season.

Erol apparently says it as it is and is ruthless

So all you will hear now in June on new players is total rumours and guess work by the local media Glen Williams as Erol has not decided nothing yet.

It still stands though that Ramsey is interested in a return.

I would rather be honest , than fans believe this month 99% of the local media rumours.

I am excited this season, as last season I had NO excitement for Morrisons signings, I could tell and said most of them were not Championship quality .

League tables don’t lie.

We need quality over quantity this summer. It seemed that we signed every free agent available last season.

We have a core of around 6/7 players at City already but another 5/6 quality signings would see us do well.

This coming season’s Championship is the toughest in years.

I’ve done a lot of reading on the new manager after initially not knowing who he was but I have to say now that I’m quite excited about the appointment.

He’s a very intelligent football man that doesn’t mess about and if you’re not pulling your weight and not performing, you’re out, no matter who it is.

I don’t think we’ll see any favourites getting into the team this season. They’ll have to earn it.

That’s only a good thing.

Yeah after the uncertainty of last season with a crazy amount of managers, hopefully we’ve got this appointment right and will have a bit of longevity in terms of management.

Something I think we’ve been missing for a while is a real leader on the park, I appreciate they aren’t easy too find but worth far more than their actual ability in the way they inspire players around them, last season especially we didn’t seem to have anyone on the park who could lift the side when things weren’t going well.

I think if we can get that midfielder from Trabzonspor and Ramsey in the centre that would be awesome.

Sounds like any transfer movement we have will start to happen in July.

This is the sort of manager we need, someone who says it as it is and is ruthless. I think and hope he'll do a good job for us.

I remember reading from Turkish fans about bulut is that he doesn't bring a plan B if things go wrong tactically. Hope he can bring some foreplanning for this season.

Don't understand this 'no leader' as you'd have to be pretty shortsighted not to notice the difference with Ralls and without Ralls.

I see your point but I genuinely think we need a tougher one than both those.

Erol Bulut arrives back in Cardiff on Friday, will attend Wales v Armenia game at CCS.

As for their pre-season trip, Cardiff have not been on a foreign camp since they visited America under Neil Warnock, however a jaunt to Portugal awaits them next months.

When Bulut arrived he ripped up the plan which was in place out in Portugal and has put his own slant on things out there. They will head out to Portugal next month but will be back in time for the pre-season friendly against Wycombe taking place on Saturday, July 29. It is understood Cardiff are looking to play at least one game while in the Algarve, but full details regarding dates and the friendly fixture are due in the coming days.

It's been awhile since we've had a manger who has us all thinking, will he won't he.

For some strange reason I think we've unleashed a gem here and a lot of fans will be surprised.

But at the back of my mind I'm thinking it's going ro be a disaster again
