A forum for all things Cardiff City

The Hierarchy have paid Top lawyers to appeal on the so called Transfer Embargo, due to being over the 30 days they allowed City and 4 years waiting for City to pay the first instalment.
City have appealed and it’s their final chance, other wise it will be next season when they can pay a transfer fee or even pay a loan fee.
The Hierarchy have also promised to pay the 2nd instalment for Emiliano Sala.
Let’s finally win one court case .
The good news is Peter Ridsdale will not be on the panel this time.
It’s an independent panel.

Hopefully finally we can win a case.
Will be huge if we win this appeal, as obviously it would enable us to bring in better players.
It's good that they seem to be doing as much as they can to have this so called embargo lifted by paying top lawyers.
I can see the club's point of view. Because one argument is we haven't gained any advantage from not paying because, due to the tragic event, unfortunately the player never played for us.
Relieved that Ridsdale isn't on the panel this time, otherwise we'd have no chance.
Would hope we have a good chance with this one as it'll be an independent panel.

Honestly this could be massive. If we win this, I could see us having a right go at it this season.
I think we will anyway. But obviously it's been made harder for us currently.

Keeping everything crossed but EFL who knows?
Will make a huge difference to players, staff and fans.

True we are massively hindered if we lose, we've lost all of our best players and won't be able to replace them, it's relegation if we don't win this, I hate relying on courts, they can go anyway?

Annis, you've stuck to your guns regarding all the court cases and rightly said they were a waste of our time and money.
You SEEM a bit more positive about this one. Do you agree we may have a case with this one?

EFL
never done us any favours
Nothing about
snowgate derby
or
Raingate rotherham.
Perhaps we have to stop singing england f.ck.d it up
Then perhaps they won't f.ck us up.

City should sue the EPL for uncompetitive under trade law
It's incredible a Premier club with enormous wealth clear this debt whilst others cannot due to thier weaker financial status

We can only hopecommon sense prevails and the EFL oblige us with a lifting of the transfer fee ban...
I personally believe the circumstances around which the 'ban' arose were exceptional and there shoukd have been more understanding from first the Premier League and then other authorities...
I'm not overly confident we will see the ban lifted but at leadt we are trying and the club are finally paying what is due to FC Nantes. That is the decent thing to do and any other claims shoukd be kept away from the footballing side of the club/company...

When have we ever had a ruling in our favour or a second chance as given to many?
