‘ Erol Bulut back in Cardiff ‘

Erol Bulut back in Cardiff today

Erol Bulut will arrive back in Cardiff this morning after going to the Champions League final in Istanbul, Turkey, where Manchester City beat Inter Milan to secure a historic treble.

The new Bluebirds boss will attend the Wales v Armenia game at the stadium tomorrow night before beginning his job as Cardiff boss in earnest.

He hinted that he would haul his charges in early this summer and that is indeed the case. Bluebirds players will report for pre-season duty as early as Monday, June 19, in order to meet their new gaffer and for him to cast a beady eye over them as he forms a better image in his mind of what he needs in this summer's transfer window.

It is also expected that summer plans, including pre-season and transfer strategy, will then be thrashed out in the days after his arrival, with the manager keen to bring in as many as 10 new players, with some current Bluebirds also potentially leaving, whether that be on loan or permanently

I get the feeling that "He means business" and that excites me.

I hope that the powers that be just let him get on with it, without interference, because if they do they might actually find they get their investment back a little more quickly
