Citing “tougher opposition” for 1 win in 11. “Everyone has got an opinion and I’ll never have a go at a supporter for having an opinion.”

Says squad is still a “work in progress”.

Rob Page is clueless, the sooner he is replaced the better.

Unfortunately international management isn't very attractive these days. We'd struggle to appoint anyone better so we're stuck with him. Just stop his tinkering and stick with what works. Let's hope that we turn it around tomorrow.

I reckon Pep would say his squad is perpetually "in progress"

I have been saying for a few years that Page is out of his depths.

Inherited an incredible Welsh squad and also a wonderful united fanbase who's passion, energy, humour and support has been world class. He was a very lucky man.

He has however done very little to develop a playing style or bring in younger players when he could see some of the senior players were coming to the end of their time.

The world cup was embarrassing - not only the results but we played poorly.

International football has changed significantly and some of the most exciting teams play with youngers players in an expansive game where they run at opponents and work really hard. But Page is stuck in the past.

Good on Page for stepping in when Giggs had to be replaced but he has done little, especially over the last 18 months, to provide any confidence or signs that the team is 'in progress'.

Said all along he's not up to the task, for a guy who normally sets up very defensive and to try not to lose I find it funny how we can't defend to save our lives. I always felt there was something wrong with squad selection and team selection and tactics. Unfortunately signed a long term contract with faw not long ago so won't be going anywhere. He was very lucky with world cup qualification that Gareth Bale turned up in most of the games.
