What happened to U21 Sebastian Kristensen?

We signed Sebastian Kristensen from Everton last year on a 1 year contract. A 6ft3 Danish centre back that was said to be a great signing for Purse's U21 side.

Did anyone see him play? His contract runs out this month apparently but cant see any news on him and his name isn't on the retained/released list

Leahy and Peake are the main names brought up in regards to mismanagement and subsequent release and to some extent Connolly for Bristol Rovers a few years ago

I know that most players wont make the step up but none of the names mentioned above have even had a look in. How do you make a name for yourself in the U21 and not get any 1st team opportunities

I guess he's only had one full season (I think) so it'll be interesting to see if he really pushes on from now
