Interesting I was told last week that we were talking to an ex England international, but don’t hold your breath

He was in the last window too.

About time we brought back the LEO chant :D

THEO THEO THEO :laughing6:

Saying that, has he still got it? I think for a Championship side absolutely yes. An upgrade on Ojo and Whyte anyway

Only if the new Gaffa wants him.If he's looking for one last comfortable hurrah then we are not the place.

I think Nathan Redmond at Fernebache - aged 29 now and out of contract at end of this week - might be a more realistic rumour.

Right player , wrong club sorry :? . He is at Besiktas at present. Played pretty regularly for them last season and contributed a decnt number of goals for a winger to go alongside his assists

Redmond is available just not to us on the basis that he has been offered a further contract by Besiktas with a salary of £1.5M but he wants £2m and Wolves and Burnley are interested

No chance we'll sign Redmond.

But I think Walcott is realistic. Saw him play a few times on TV for Southampton for last season and he's still a decent player.

Would definitely do a job in the Championship.

All I will say is that nobody knew about Bulut or that he was in the frame until the press reported he was going to be the new manager, and a couple of hours later he was announced.

Could be the same case with new signings.

Makes sense the Reading training ground is not far from his current house and close to where he lived as a child.
