Cardiff City Have Been Ordered To Pay:

Fri Jun 30, 2023 1:12 pm

Cardiff City been ordered by FIFA pay it all in one lump!

It’s now €17mill

Plus City have already paid €7.5mill

No more instalments !

The total! For Sala or face sanctions!

Sanctions will be worse than the last one of a three window transfer embargo.

Apparently this why Vincent Tan made more shares at 1p each.

It’s now €17mill

Plus City have already paid €7.5mill

City originally only owed €15mill in total

Because of refusing to pay after 4 and a half years

They will now have paid €24.5 mill plus €2mill in lawyers fees etc

Reading the French news Nantes been to FIFA this is their ruling. Not to be confused with the private proceedings going on . Nantes are hoping this ruling from FIFA closes it … would not we all like see that.. however, civil proceedings currently just started last 2 years pos!

Nantes will have to hand over a lump of that due to a sell on clause, good enough for the crooked French f%%ks.
Sorry about language, edited out.

We all now know the FIFA ruling is purely about the signing and payment of the player. They and all the sports arbitrations could not rule on any fraud, corruption or blame involving the unfortunate incident.

We therefore pay up and go after them in a civil court. That said, I bet Nantes will try and see the payment as an end to the whole situation, which it isn't.

Can't see Tan and co. happy to pay. Expect more sanctions.

The hole we are in is getting deeper each day!

Can't see any quality players coming to our club for the next few years; unless an aging Rambo gets homesick and returns here before he draws his pension!

Happy days.....not! :banghead:

Exactly it's pay, for now, he was your player, it will go on for years but we will get the money back from Nantes or one of the parties' insurers.

We had no choice but to fight it, no one would hand over the money under these circumstances and say crack on here's your money even though you made catastrophic mistakes and dropped our player into the channel!

Could be the club knew this was coming and hence the new cash (apparently) share issue for 17 million

That’s exactly what I thought.

Why don't we offer to give the money to FIFA, using them as a sort of holding bank until the french police have looked into the potential corrupt on goings at nantes. This way the money wont be handed over to nantes until they are cleared.

Excellent idea.
Hopefully the pair of Nantes crooks will rot in a French jail.

Annis

The club has been ordered to pay Euros 11million not Euros 17 million as the first figure is the balance due (including interest) for the second and third instalments. Therefore the total the club will have had to pay is within the figure allowed for in the accounts since 2019.
