U-TURN IN KORTRIJK: KAMINSKI GROUP TO PULL OUT OF PURCHASE DESPITE BEING PRESENTED AS NEW OWNERS

5th July 2023

The situation in Kortrijk is becoming farcical as Kaminski are pulling out of the deal worth €17mill with Vincent Tan and Tan now threatening to sue them.

Kaminski were already in turmoil with Directors and the manager resigning saying that they could not work with Vincent Tan no longer due to his arrogance and rudeness.

HLN are reporting that the Kaminski Group, which was presented to the press as the new owners of the club, are pulling out of the deal they say due Tans side not disclosing everything .

They had agreed a purchase of the club with Vincent Tan for €17m. However, none of the money had been forthcoming, with Tan than issuing a statement saying that the new owners had until the 6th of July to make a payment before he would start suing them.

Now, the Belgian paper is reporting that the Kaminski Group has no desire to make a payment and will pull-out of the deal and say they signed nothing . Tan is likely to claim for damages in his suing actions.
Tans claim is he could of sold the club to other parties.

Kaminski beat the likes of Burnley to purchasing the club, but their withdrawal leaves the side in a difficult position. They did manage to appoint a new head coach in Ed Still, but currently there are just 15 players on the books who have first team experience. They barely avoided relegation last season, with the 2023/2024 season shaping up to be equally as difficult for the club.

It’s actually incredible:

Tan falls out with everyone and as usual we hear he’s suing yet again, beyond belief and never his fault even though he loses virtually every case.

You can’t sue if they have not signed.

People can change their minds that happens in life / business every day.

Dalman could take advantage of this and put more in to Cardiff City to get more say??

He's on the opposite side of the arguement this time.

Not being paid for something he sold.

Can he be in the wrong (or right) on both, oppossing, occasions?

Wayne,

I just don’t know anymore.

In my 50 years of following City we have never had an owner who wants to sue everyone and always claims he is in the right, yet looses virtually every court case.

Be good if he actually cared and concentrated actually on our cub more than being in court 24/7.

I can’t say who is in the right on this one as I don’t know much about it.

Just fed up of the Dictator.

I do know this he seems to bring problems everywhere.

To me, it seems no different to a house sale.

Somebody offers to buy your house for £150k but for whatever reason it doesn't complete. Thats life. You cannot sue for that.

I suppose the issue is..... did they complete?

If documents were signed and announcements made, are the purchasers tied in.

But I'll be buggered if I am getting into this sort of crap again.

Exactly Paul.

But Tan seems to not understand the European way and rules.

So here we go again, beyond belief.

Vincent Tan, for someone who is a successful billionaire, don't half attract problems does he?!

Spot on.

Sounds like they haven't signed the documents so he has no right to sue them.

Wouldn't be surprised if Dalman puts more money in now and gets even more of a say in the club.

Ned my understanding is that documents were signed although korviek are saying different. you dont normally post and have photos done that we are new owners if they were not
Also I thought it was Burnley owners buying, not the other ones ????
Also i agree with you on Dalman putting more money in!
