Dalman should never have made such bold transfer claims. I understand why he did, and it’s worked to some extent because ticket sales are up, but it’s also driven people a bit crazy. Better to undersell. Expectations were low, but now he has to deliver Ramsey and that’s a big ask and to think he announced all this in June 5th

The last 2 signings were announced at 12:00 by the club

Plenty of time left to have an exciting day as some people have alluded to

Although I agree, it hasnt helped that people are expecting Ramsey after a bold statement was put out. Any other signings will now be below the fans expectations especially if Ramsey doesnt end up actually signing

We will see I guess. Fingers crossed :bluebird:

Who said Rambo would sign today?

It was reported that Mehmet Dalman was flying in for talks, not to announce his signing

Patience is not a virtue for some, is it?

He looked like he was here for the TNS game to me. I'm sure he's the bloke in the photo showing Goutas was in the stand.

Why not?! It's his job after all.

He's not going to say ... Got some shit signings lined up for the next week. Go buy season tickets. Get the new shirt. See you all in August.

As someone eluded to, no one knows what's going on. Not Dalman's fault, the manager, the club's or potential City players'. So many moving parts. The only people I'd happily blame are the agents!!
