I don't know that he'll sign, but I do get the feeling that it will happen.

People are comparing it to the Bale situation but that's pointless. Bale and Barnett obviously used us. I really don't think that's the case with Ramsey.

So I voted yes. I think it'll go through.

But some seemed to expect it to happen really quickly, which never happens with any transfer. There's so much that needs to be gone through, even for a free transfer.

He doesn't need a full pre-season due to the games he played for Wales recently and he apparently wants to join us so there really is no rush - especially from his point of view.

The club and player will want to get it done and I think they will.

I think Tan needs to get his head out of his arse and realise he’s saving money on Rambo’s wages, asking for 10% of Ramsey shirt sales isn’t a lot in comparison. Hopefully Dalman can talk some sense into him and push for the deal to happen quicker seeing as how much money he currently has invested in Cardiff.

The difference between this Ramsey deal and the Bale fiasco is that Bale had no intentions of coming to Cardiff and Tan already knew, as a share holder, that Bale had signed for LA before the summer (after the Champions League Final).

That's a good point: most of us simply don't know how well he would do in the Championship. He hasn't impressed me in a long time but maybe he has been unfit, injured or not playing enough games. He played in 18 of Nice's 38 league games and scored one goal. So maybe that wasn't enough. Anyway I'm not going to get too disappointed if he doesn't come but hopeful of a good season from him if he does come.

By the way, you can't just make things up. Ramsey played in 27 Ligue 1 games and 7 Europa Conference League games. You mention his goals, but he's not a striker or even a winger so that's not really relevant.

He averaged 60 mins per game last season which would be great for us this season.

Ramsey would be a top signing for any Championship club. Anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves.

When I mentioned Ramsey's one goal I didn't mean to imply anything: I was just repeating the stats. Anyway, It's good to hear that Ligue 1 is a higher standard than the Championship. You obviously believe he will do well and I hope you are right. I'm looking forward to and am excited about the new season.
