Interesting signing - While Piroe has had a few clubs showing an interest of late .

looked lively for blackpool in the champ last season, managed 15 goals i believe, from what i read, £2.5m is a bit high, £1.2m with about £600,000 in add ons regarding goals, and promotion etc

Arguable who the better scorer is. Yates played most of his career at a lower level. Both got relegated last year.

Meite plays a fair bit on the right wing too.

I think this is a good signing for them unfortunately.

He's got big shoes to fill in Piroe, but has shown flashes of what he can do in this league.

In a better team than Blackpool, which they obviously are, he will score a decent amount of goals.

£2.5m is cheap for him as well.

Hope I'm wrong and he fails miserably but looks like good business.

Te stats show championship and meite often on wing is better. Even more so as he costs zero. Yates when I seen him against us looked bang average
