Erol Bulut: “ Rubin Colwill “

Erol Bulut:

"Rubin is a good player with good technique. He can play number 10, he can play wide, he can play as a number eight," Bulut began. "In our system, how we want to play, he will be like a second striker, not like a winger, we want to see it more in the middle of the field because of his technique and quality.

"I think he can do it well and this will be his position. I am happy with how he has been doing until now. He is a young player and will make mistakes, but he will be much, much better in the following weeks."

This is just what we want to be hearing. Bulut strikes me as way better than what we’ve had in the past. I’m looking forward to this season.

He looks like he has shed a few pounds in that picture above, last season I thought he was a little over weight, hopefully if his fitness is better this season we could see the player he has been touted as ?

I do think its the make or break season for Rubin this season.

Good to hear as he’s no winger.

I think we need Rubin Colwill or Isaak Davies (hopefully both) to make a big impression in the first team this season.
The first team is taking shape without them, but what concerns me is that a number of our players have a poor record with injuries and we will surely have to call on these two young lads to step in.
