ARE LEEDS A SINKING SHIP

Fri Jul 14, 2023 6:41 am

Our first opponents this season are Leeds ( when they got relegated I jokingly thought there's 6 points next season for us) seam to be in crisis. Ok in all the headlines coming out from City this week its gone rather unnoticed that all the Leeds top players are jumping ship with just 3 weeks to go before the big KO. Koch, Llorente, Aaronson and now their top scorer have left the club this week. They have a new manager who was only appointed at the end of last week.

With City being first up for their season back in the championship and given their dreadful season ( even worse than us) in the Premier league, they appear to be a club in real crisis so bring it on, we could have the "silver Bulut" ready for favorite Yorkshire rivals :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Hopefully a good time for us to catch them cold in the first game.

Catch them cold like we did West Ham when we beat them 0-1 many moons ago.

They are unstable at the moment but they still have a stronger squad than us currently.

I was speaking to a client yesterday who has been a Leeds supporter for twenty years

Seems they are not overly keen on playing us first game - and that was before I told him we had signed Rambo

They'll be up there at the end of the season, no doubt about that.

The teams that come down from the Premier League are always likely to lose a few players but it's early in the window and I expect them to sign good replacements.

Although it will be a good time for us to play them before the season gets into full swing. If we can go there and get a point, then it'll be a decent start.

Would be a good signing but be surprised if no PL club wanted him?

Seems he's definitely leaving the Jacks as they've just signed Yates.
