I am very happy with the signings so far.

Well done to the club.

If we can sort out the back four and GK then I'll be singing that the blues are going up

Happy with the signings so far but not getting carried away. Let’s see how they gel and whether we can keep Ramsey fit. Definitely a better transfer window than Morisons shop at Lidl.

One cannot deny these are exciting days. The quality of incoming players vastly more experienced and overall better quality than last year, and many years previously.

Quite what has happened behind the scenes to affect such a different approach is anyones guess, but for now it is just nice to actually look forward to a season!

Good to see you feeling so positive Barclay, we have had some dark times the last few years but there is definitely hope and optimism spreading through the fanbase.

I believe part reason for the better quality of signings is that the name "Ramsey" has been touted to these players during negotiations, whether loan or permanent. It shows them that the new "Project" is not pie in the sky but a serious attempt to improve our fortunes and attack this league. :bluebird:

I am. Had contemplated not renewing season ticket for 1st time and was going to maybe watch the odd game. But decided to jump in just before the early bird window closed. Have to say I’m glad I did. Looking forward to the season starting.

Nope. I'm keeping my feet on the ground and will make a judgement after 10 games.

All I will say is that it looks a lot more promising than this time last year. The signing of Ramsey is the reason for that. I don't know why people are praising the Board as its been Ramsey himself driving this with Tan nearly f*%king it up. The real positive thing of everything is he is being told to stay out of things he knows nothing about. He should go back to overseeing his MacDonalds franchises, no one can screw that up.

If your a cardiff how could you not be exited after the last 5 season or so right back to big mick
Yes we have replaced 3 best players from last season who we have lost
philogene kipre and kaba but along with the new signings we have 2 players who never played much last season
adams and collins so we could count these also as new additions
Lets hope ramsey is not targeted by a vinny Jones type player to take him out of the game.

First time in years it’s been an exciting time to be a bluebirds fan with the new signings so far and the manager. Really looking forward to the SW Derby now on Sept 16th, having Rambo fit and playing in that will show the others the passion needed and expected for the game. Just hope they gel quick and play for each other instead of the solo performances we’ve seen over recent seasons.

Exciting times ahead :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

NO if NO QUALITY STRIKER IS SIGNED

We were promised a lot, I say only half delivered so far.

Agree Annis, we're toothless upfront and desperately need an out and out striker. Yes we've signed Ramsey but we ain't a 1 man team.

I feel we need a minimum of 3 or 4 players or we could be in deep trouble again this season.

Dai,

We def need at least 3 more players .

We have known for years we are toothless upfront.

It needs addressing now.

We've got a tough start and it will be interesting to see where we are by the time the first international break comes around.

Apart from Ramsey I'm not sure that our squad is any better than it was last season when we struggled massively.

The manager could be a revelation or he could be a disaster we just don't know. At the start of last season there were plenty on here predicting play offs when we had signed a load of free transfers and loanees.

So far this summer we've also signed freebies and loanees and for me to get excited about this season I'd really like to see at the least a new keeper, a new centre half, a defensive midfielder and a goalscorer by the end of the transfer window.

Keiffer would definitely help but the continuing embargo means that for me I can only at the moment see a season of struggle if we have to rely on the bulk of last season's squad who clearly were not good enough.

Got a wager with a pal that, if we finish outside the bottom 6, I'll don a west brom shirt and down a pint whilst singing the praises of Kipré
