DEFENCE / CDM’s

With the attacking/forward players pretty much sorted, I’m interested to see how the gaffer will look to strengthen the defensive half of the team.

The new unit at centre back is a good start, but we still need a left back in my opinion. I want to see O’Dowda further up the pitch. He doesn’t seem to favour Bagan, and Collins is only just coming back from injury. Definitely an area we need some further support in.

For a first choice eleven I believe we only need two DMs and a keeper.

Balut has had chance to see what we have now. To be fair one place we aren’t weak in is that cdm role. But it depends on if it’s enough to push on and up for us. Had we not signed the players tbag we have is say I think ralls and wintle are absolutely fine and Will the others be good enough or consistent enough?

Problem is now I’m not so sure!! We have signed established players that look like they mean business which makes me look harder at these positions.

I can’t see sawyers getting much game time now. Rhino wasn’t first choice before. If anyone is brought in then they will be better than ralls and or wintle.

At the back. Simpson isn’t good enough and Ng will
Be right back I think. So we need someone at the back as either back up or to play.
