The moment has finally come. It’s official.
Yes he’s had quite a lot of critics on this forum about how he’ll fit in and how his best days might be past him (neither of which I believe that all tbh). But this is huge. It’s huge for the club, the team and the fans.
Let’s all be grateful that a player of his quality and standard has been loyal enough to take a big big pay, cut that he didn’t have to do at all. Just to play football for his boyhood club. This is very special and a moment we’ve been waiting for a long time.
Who cares we don’t get 10/10 performances out of him every game. This is the best thing that’s happened to our club for years and enjoy watching the magic whilst we can.
